Dan Cook playing guitar live

It’s fair to say that Dan’s music sensibilities arise from listening to the radio in the late eighties, being raised by kids from the seventies, and crystallizing his passion with the acoustic, hard rock, and grunge sounds of the nineties. He’s as likely to have his Taylor 816 Grand Symphony strumming an original as he is likely to have an American made Les Paul draped over his shoulder jamming out a Stone Temple Pilots cover.

Those sensibilities keep Dan playing to an engaged audience to this day…mainly because that love of music was instilled early and often with Dan...in spite of the changing musical varietals of Rock music over the years. The idea of the six string guitar and some derivation of the modern blues remain timeless and supreme…and the dedication to their ability to make you transcend the mundane remain Dan’s strength as a consistently performing musician.
